Atwood Grill in Johnston

Excellent food! And service! My favorite place to dine out! The prime rib is outstanding! It melts in your mouth. And so is the French onion soup. Ty Atwood grill delicious!

I haven't been to Atwood Grill in years and my visit this weekend had me absolutely amazed at how far they've come. Their menu was extensive and prices were significantly competitive. The portions were very generous and the service was fast and friendly. A local jewel in Johnston.

I have been here a few times and am never disappointed with the food. The family style salad is amazing. I would order that just as my meal, the balsamic dressing they use is excellent. The service has been pretty good, but it can take a little too long to get your dinner, there is only one toilet in each bathroom which means there is usually a line which is annoying and the reason why I took off a star

With this take out was awful we got the food cold and it just wasn’t okay you could tell that it been sitting back there for a while and the manager was so rude and I don’t think I wanna come back it’s not right you think the manager would be better and it wasn’t till the second time that we got the pasta it’s not right. And I hope people actually read this before you take out here make sure to check the food before you leave so you don’t have a experience like us.

First time visit. Our server, Patricia, was very helpful with any questions we had. I was looking for a seafood appetizer and she pointed out the homemade stuffies and soup combo. It didn't disappoint. The stuffies were spiced just right and a good size. The chicken soup was excellent. I ordered the chicken marsala with potato and veggies. It was all very good. My wife ordered the chicken parm w/pasta and enjoyed it very much. Patricia pointed out the various specials menus for the week as well as the lunch and dinner club cards. Very helpful. We'll be back.

Always a great night out. Can't beat there Mon-Thurs 2 for dinner special w/ bottle of wine + dessert. Just wow!

Had lunch with work colleges, and Patricia took great care of us, getting our food to us quickly. She was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be coming back!

The Services an Atmosphere was Wonderful. Food was Spectacular .You could eat there an meet Friends, or if you prefer you can go to the bar either way. You can go wrong. Thank You Atwood!!!!

My wife and I had dinner with our neighbors we all had fish. It was excellent as well as the service!

Always enjoy our visits to Atwood Grill. The wait staff are so attentive, friendly and efficient. Patricia's warmth makes you feel as though you are visiting her own home. Beth is awesome too! Food is affordable, fresh, plentiful and delicious. The VIP card is a great feature.. Have had many discounted meals. You won't leave hungry!

Food was good. Price was great. The bread they serve with the meal was home made. It was very good.

Server gave off an unpleasant vibe that I interpreted as they'd much rather be anywhere else doing anything else but serving us. The broth of the "chicken soup" I was served tasted like Campbell's condensed chicken noodle before you add the water. The bread was caked in flour and coated the tongue when you bit into it. I ordered the frutti de mare in the red clam sauce. The pasta was bland, the scallops overcooked, the clams were sandy. The sauce was thin from the addition of the unseasoned pasta water. The sauce itself had a nice garlicky flavor, but lacked acidity and depth. It was just tomatoes, garlic, and pasta water. The crab was the highlight of the dish as it was the only thing that had been salted before it reached my table. For the price I paid, I suppose it's decent? There's just too many things that turned me off during this whole experience.

I really like the spicy chicken zingarella here. The house dressing is well thought of and sold by the bottle.

I arrived around 8:30 after a long day on my way home. Looked at the reviews for this place which looked pretty good. What a disappointment. Horrible meal. Stale bread, over cooked carrots, raw end cut prime rib. Not rare like prime rib should be but raw. How do you even cook a prime rib if the end cut is raw? I took it home for the dog after 4 bites. Horrible Au Jus, tasted more like soy sauce, Baked potato was good. Loudest restaurant I've ever been in. Waitress was wonderful.

Food was good, portions are generous. Service is good, but when they get busy, you may have to wait around. Prices are very reasonable.

Worse service i have ever experienced in my life. Went there for a job seminar with a co-worker and they moved us out of the bar 3 times to give the seats to their preferred customers. All because we were wearing work clothes and waiting for the other people to arrived..!! I would never visit that place again in my life

Very good food, reasonable prices & excellent, friendly, professional service by Patricia. Would we come here again? Absolutely! God-willing, we hope to return on our next visit from SC. The only problem we had was trying to decide what to order from such a wide variety of yummy sounding meals. 5 meals: all scrumptious.

Took a friend from Florida there to eat... She said that she missed the Italian flare down there that the restaurant had to offer... The food was very good and reasonable priced.... A nice little out of the way place...( You can always tell a great place... when seniors go there to eat ).... I'll be going back...

Got my usual mushroom and Swiss cheese burger. Not as much mushrooms and cheese as in the past. Still a good burger.

Food is always amazing there. Today I grabbed takeout... and it was prepared for me in 15 minutes after I ordered it. I live 20 minutes away and it was still warm by the time I got home.

Very good food and relaxing family atmosphere. Definitely a local hangout. Salad was fresh, but dressing was bland. Italian baked dishes are the best bet here.

We ordered curbside during this shutdown. We were overcharged by 10 dollars and when we asked about it they said it was tax. Food was ok. Chicken dishes are listed at 9.95 yet we were charged 32.50 with tax for 2 dinners. I’m not going back there. Shameful because I want to support local businesses, but I’m not going to get ripped off in the process.

When I'm in town, I have to stop at the restaurant my folks eat at every Friday!! You will leave full and happy

To initiate a British colleague on his first visit to Johnston RI, we organized a drink party at Atwood grill. The place was completely full when we arrived at 6 pm. The patrons were seniors as well as families with young children. The starters like mozzarella cheese wedges, calamari rings are very good. My colleagues also enjoyed their drinks.

The food was great the prices were reasonable and we left full. We were a party of 4 and they seated us quickly and the service was good. An older restaurant that still delivers an excellent experience.

Great food!!! Dina is a fantastic bartender! Whenever we are in Rhode Island, we always go there. Miss it already!
